Ashraf Jamal, a writer and researcher for ArtBankSA and the University of Johannesburg, possesses a background in cultural studies, art history, and comparative literature, providing him with a deep understanding of the African art landscape. Heba El Kayal, a curatorial consultant, brings her expertise in modern and contemporary art from the Middle East and North Africa to the judging panel.
