Girls Gone Rx South Africa 2024 Empowers Women Through Fitness Competition
The Girls Gone Rx South Africa 2024 event will take place on January 27, 2024, at Forest Road, Sunset Ave, Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa. This exciting event features 4 team workouts, with teams of 3 individuals competing in 2 inclusive divisions, all in support of a great cause.
Girls Gone Rx (GGRx) focuses on building a community of women who empower and support each other through fitness. The event is not just about competition but about celebrating the strength and camaraderie of women coming together to achieve their fitness goals.
Participants can choose between two divisions based on their skill level. The Rx Division is for teams that can perform daily workouts without scaling or modifying movements, including advanced skills like pull-ups, double unders, and handstand pushups. The BAM (Badass In the Making) Division is designed for athletes new to competition, who may need to modify workouts and are still learning Olympic lifting and functional fitness.
Registration for the event opens on December 6, 2024, with an Early Bird special available until December 20. Teams can register for R1500 per team during the Early Bird period, with the price increasing to R1800 thereafter. While refunds are not offered, team exchanges are allowed if a replacement can be found.
