The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high-impact programs that improve education and health outcomes among young people in the country.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the challenges facing young people in South Africa, including limited access to quality education and healthcare, and develop innovative solutions to address these issues.
As the Research Manager/Associate Research Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of researchers to design, implement, and monitor high-impact programs that improve education and health outcomes for young people. The role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and developing evidence-based recommendations to inform program design, implementation, and evaluation.
In order to succeed in this role, the candidate should possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as public health, education, or social sciences, with at least 3-5 years of experience in research and program management, preferably in a similar setting. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work flexibly with minimal supervision.

The Research Manager/Associate Research Manager will be based in South Africa and will be responsible for:
Leading a team of researchers to design, implement, and monitor high-impact programs that improve education and health outcomes for young people
Conducting research, analyzing data, and developing evidence-based recommendations to inform program design, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborating with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement program strategies and interventions
Providing technical assistance and training to program staff, partners, and stakeholders
Monitoring and evaluating program progress, and reporting on results to key stakeholders
Identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges, and developing contingency plans as needed
